1979 Mini Comtesse Break
The Break was based on the four-wheeled version of the Mini Comtesse introduced in 1978. A two-seater with a large load-carrying capacity, it featured a huge glass area and enormous top-hinged opening tailgate. Uncompromisingly boxy, yet having a certain amount of "flair", this vehicle could only have come from France
Acoma's fortunes began to wane in the face of competition and declining numbers of senior citizens driving "sans permis", and the company called it quits in 1984.
